The 199ORH Story started in 1986 when Ramon “Mon” To-Ong had a dilemma of picking up his kids from school as Manila flood has become a burden to both citizens and businesses alike.
His simple idea of lifting his Toyota Pickup truck high enough to put on a larger tire diameter while not losing engine power caused him to research in the Japanese off road market. Starting with simply replacing the shackles, to changing the leaf spring entirely, “Fire Chief” was born. The first lifted off road capable truck in the country.
